I'm not very familiar with Kenlo's work, but on his three beat albums there's some real bangers on here. His most recent one is Mauve, which is like some Flying Lotus type shit. For me, Noir and Bleu are the ones that stand out the most, but make sure you listen to all three. If you would like to check out more from Kenlo, then go to both of his myspaces: http://www.myspace.com/kenlolenarrateur and http://www.myspace.com/kenlocapsules
Lokid is a producer out of Paris, France. He's a part of the Digital Invaders crew, which consists of producers such as Powell, Suff Daddy, Bless 1, Hazeem etc. If you would like to know more about him or the Digital Invaders, then check out his myspace: http://www.myspace.com/lokidmusic or http://www.myspace.com/digitalinvaders.
After three years from their last LP Boogie Angst, Kraak & Smaak the house act from the Netherlands is back, which is composed of three musicians Oscar De Jong, Mark Kneppers, and Wim Plugreleased. They came out with their latest album this year named Plastic People. I personally enjoyed this album, and I think after three years, Kraak & Smaak have came back better than most do.

Japanese producers always seem to have really really good music.
Here's a guy who goes by the name of Wooblue. This album is simply amazing. These soulful yet relaxing songs are just...perfect. Sounding very similar to the sound of the Nujabes or Tsutchie, but also it has its originality. Here's both of his LP's from last year, North Surface & North Letter.

New Shit from New York's own, Cloud. Be on the look out for this guy, man. This guy is onto something. If you still haven't picked up Pimp Steak, I suggest you do. It's hands down my favorite instrumental CD of the year 2008.
Released a little before Black Milk's Tronic album was released, this beat tape is pretty self explanitory. Just another beat tape wondering around the internet waiting to be heard. Knowing Black Milk, you wont be disappointed at all.
Having already established a name for themselves in Ann Arbor, Tree City (Please Click) recently have collaborated with one of Detroit's finest, Black Milk (Not really a collaboration, but more of a consent from Black Milk to use beats from "Music From The Purple Tape"). This has been in my music rotation, heavily for the past few weeks.
Anyways, These guys are all very talented in their own special way. Definitely a must listen. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL ARTIST. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL ARTIST. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL ARTIST. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL ARTIST. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL ARTIST. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL ARTIST. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL ARTIST.
As My Blunt Transformed Into A Magical Roach, This Beat Created By Flying Lotus Called Raw Cartoons I'm Going To Give Was Blowing My Mind. So Yea. Enjoy Your Beat Tape Friday.

With a really mellow, and cali style flow, this mixtape is really nice. It makes me want to get a '64 impala and just cruise around like fuck it, lol.
